I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what types of terrain the run was on? Is it muddy and slippery? Rocky? Nice, smooth trail? Sand?

I was wondering if trail running shoes with agressive lugs/studs might provide a better/good grip for the trails we'll be on?

we are looking for a kayaker to join a first time entrant. He is willing to do the run and ride but hasnt had enough time to do Kayak training. Anyone willing to do just the kaykaing section solo?

Get ready for this years C2C with a warm up race on August 11th.
The whole race is in Chaguaramas and the course is available from today on the ECO Adventures website.

This is a Mini-Multisport race and is expected to take the average racer 3 hours. I am an average racer and I did the course in 2:45 (not including transition times).
